How digital is impacting the way we enjoy sport


On the evening of 12th February, we hosted a discussion of digital and sport at Counter Albion, Shoreditch.

The evening brought together a diverse range of speakers including Simon Farrant from Opta, Peter Clare from Seven League, Dee Smith from Factory Media and Rhys Courtney from Populous, who discussed things as varied as cardboard cutout league tables to UGC projected in sports stadiums, snapchat to large-scale distribution models and video games broadcast on Youtube to e-sports inside huge stadiums with six-figure prizes. 

We were also joined by Kate Dale from Sport England who spoke about using digital communities to motivate women to get active with the This Girl Can Campaign.
